Human Trafficking

Dr. Divya Kakaiya is a clinical Psychologist, Neuroscientist, Neurofeedback Practitioner, and Education Consultant and speaks on empowering young women at many schools each year.  She was one of the Girl Scout Council’s Top 10 Cool Women of San Diego in 2009 and a KPBS Local Hero for Asian American Month in 2010.  Dr. Kakaiya is President of the Women’s Museum of California and a Board Member of San Diego Girl Scouts and CrimeStoppers, where her passion is to help fight sex trafficking of girls and women in San Diego.  She is a member of HT-RADAR, a shared collaborative of researchers, service providers and law enforcement that is coming up with cutting edge ways to impact sex trafficking here.  Dr. Kakaiya is also a proud Rotarian.
