Steve Jewett
Environmental Alliance

Come meet our newest member. A Kansas City native and serial entrepreneur, Steve has built four successful companies and invented two products that enjoy widespread use. A love of the wild took him to Colorado where he could pursue his personal interests in skiing and climbing, sports that saw him soon become a mountain rescue mission coordinator in Eagle County, Colorado. Steve has climbed all the fourteeners (peaks over 14,000 feet) in Colorado and most of those in his present home state of California. A love of our shared wilderness and desire to keep it as natural as possible inspired him to become a co-founder of Clean Trails and National CleanUp Day. This same ‘pay it forward’ attitude has led him to co-found the Environment Alliance, a non-profit working to empower organizations, businesses, governments, and people to protect the environment for all future generations.
