Romina Rossel

Romi is a Photographer and Marketing Specialist with a background in Finance, Customer Relations and Operations. Romi is Co-Founder of The Bountiful Bag Upcycling Program and has been actively working on coming up with solutions to minimize plastic waste in the craft beer industry for over five years. She is a founding board member of the San Diego environmental nonprofit Sustainability Is Sexy and her focus within sustainability is on educating our community on ways to reduce plastic and food waste. Romi has been active in the brewing industry since 2014. (A couple variations of our logo are also attached, should you need them for any marketing purposes.) 

The presentation will be an introduction of the Brewcycling non-profit and team, an overview of our two recycling programs - BrewSCRAPS and PakTechs to Pavement, the program successes and case study on cost savings due to participation of our parent hub JuneShine, goals and plans for the next two years, and how folks can participate, including where to drop off PakTech beverage handles for recycling with our program - because, spoiler alert, they are not curbside recyclable in San Diego County!
