How stormwater affects our waterways and what Kai Pono Solutions is doing to combat this issue

Navy McKee is a seasoned entrepreneur with over seven years of experience building and scaling companies across climate tech, wellness, and consumer goods. Growing up on the Big Island of Hawaii, she developed a lifelong passion for water quality after spending much of her childhood near the ocean. Navy graduated from San Diego State University (SDSU) and went on to co-found Kai Pono Solutions with her father, developing a patent-pending stormwater filtration device now piloted in Maui. She has successfully raised over $75,000 in non-dilutive funding and participated in leading startup programs including the SDSU ZIP Launchpad, UCSD StartBlue, and SeaAhead BlueSwell. Based in San Diego, Navy is passionate about creating scalable, affordable solutions for communities most impacted by climate change and is currently fundraising to support Kai Pono Solutions' next phase of growth.
