Marge Cole grew up in the Los Angeles area. She graduated from the University of California, Santa Barbara and later earned a master’s degree at Syracuse University in New York. While serving as principal of West High School, she joined the Santee/Lakeside Rotary Club in District 5340 in 1996 and was President of the Club in 2002-03. Marge has held a number of positions at the Club, District, and Zone level including: District Rotary Foundation Committee Chair (2004-2007 & 2019-2022), District Governor (2009-10), Regional Rotary Foundation Coordinator (RRFC) for Zone 26--2016—2019, Endowments/Major Gifts Advisor for Zone 26 (2023-2026) and many more.

She is currently Advisor for the City Heights Rotaract Club and is a member of Mission Valley Evening Rotary Club. She is a member of the Paul Harris Society, a Major Donor, Bequest/Legacy Society member. She has received the Certificate for Meritorious Service and the Service Above Self Award from Rotary International. Marge serves on the Board of the Kensington-Talmadge Community Association and is a Docent for the Old Globe Theater in San Diego.  She enjoys golf, travel, theater, and all things Rotary.
