Nearly 100 parade entries will roll, march, cycle, scoot and cruise down the Coast Highway on the most magical night of the year. At this truly special community celebration of the holiday season, thousands of people will be on floats and in bands with tens of thousands more cheering them on as the Encinitas Holiday Parade rolls along Coast Highway 101. The parade begins at 5:30 PM. It is preceded by a 5:00 PM tree lighting ceremony with a brief appearance by Santa at the Lumberyard Shops courtyard.
The theme of the 2024 Encinitas Holiday Parade, "Creativity in Motion," celebrates the vibrant spirit of innovation and imagination that flows through our community. From colorful floats to dynamic performances, we invite participants to bring their creative ideas to life in a moving display of art, culture, and festive cheer. Whether it's through dance, music, or unique visual expressions, this parade will showcase the endless possibilities of creativity on the go!
The Solana Beach Eco Rotary Club will participate with the Encinitas Rotary Club fleet. The theme for the Rotary fleet is Ocean Pollution.
Members are invited to help decorate the fleet in the morning. Meeting point: Encinitas Moonlight Beach Parking at 10 am
Members who would like to march with the fleet can join the team at 4 pm-4:30pm on Second Street.
