The 40th Annual Berkeley Heights Rotary Club Pancake Breakfast is coming soon! The breakfast will be on Saturday, November 5 from 7:30a until Noon at Mt. Carmel Hall. Come get your pancakes, assorted fruit, orange juice, breakfast sausage, coffee and tea. Donations will be gratefully accepted so the Rotary Club can continue our good deeds in Berkeley Heights.
The Rotary Club of Berkeley Heights will again be selling luminaries to show our community spirit. The Luminary Project is administered by the Rotary Club and raises funds for local organizations. Last year's participating organizations were the Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, Silver Liming Foundation, The Berkeley Heights Rescue Squad and the Berkeley Heights Gardeners. Luminary sales will kickoff mid November and all sales will be online and the luminaries will be delivered to your house in Berkeley Heights. If you would like to get your order in early go to www.bhrotaryluminaries.com. All luminaries will be delivered in December prior to the 24th.
On Saturday, September 17 the Rotary Club of Berkeley Heights and The Liberty Group hosted the 2nd annual Berkeley Heights Community Shredding Event. It was a beautiful day with a steady stream of cars coming to the Columbia School parking lot and dropping off their confidential papers to be securely shredding. Donations were accepted which will allow the Rotary Club to continue awarding college scholarships to Governor Livingston students in addition many other worthwhile. community projects. A sincere THANK YOUto all that attended and participated.
The Berkeley Heights Rotary Club presented four scholarships to graduating Governor Livingston Seniors at the Chimney Rock Inn on Wednesday, June 29. Four one thousand-dollar Rotary scholarships are awarded annually to students with a minimum 3.5 GPA and have participated in an extra-curricular service such as Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, Interact Club, or other service organizations. The recipients of the 2022 scholarships are Ella Ferrigno, Isabella Straviou, Mei-Ching Huang and Thomas Burke.
