Another Successful Pancake Breakfast!

The 40^th Annual Rotary Club Pancake Breakfast was a resounding success! Thanks to all the friends, neighbors, residents and visitors that attended. Due to the success of the breakfast, the Rotary Club will be able to continue their good deeds in Berkeley Heights. Some of the projects include scholarships for graduating seniors at Governor Livingston High School, the eradication of Polio, local food drives, the Medic Alert program and so much more. Thank you to the Boy Scouts who assisted the Rotary Club with serving the guests at the Pancake Breakfast. Guests were served quickly and the coffee cups were kept full. Thanks again for your assistance.

Attendees of the Pancake Breakfast came from not only Berkeley Heights but from surrounding communities and as far away as India!! Not only did this visiting family attend the Pancake Breakfast - the father is a forty plus year Rotarian.

Pancake Breakfast Coming Soon!

The 40th Annual Berkeley Heights Rotary Club Pancake Breakfast is coming soon! The breakfast will be on Saturday, November 5 from 7:30a until Noon at Mt. Carmel Hall. Come get your pancakes, assorted fruit, orange juice, breakfast sausage, coffee and tea. Donations will be gratefully accepted so the Rotary Club can continue our good deeds in Berkeley Heights.

Another Successful Shredding Day

On Saturday, September 17 the Rotary Club of Berkeley Heights and The Liberty Group hosted the 2nd annual Berkeley Heights Community Shredding Event. It was a beautiful day with a steady stream of cars coming to the Columbia School parking lot and dropping off their confidential papers to be securely shredding. Donations were accepted which will allow the Rotary Club to continue awarding college scholarships to Governor Livingston students in addition many other worthwhile. community projects. A sincere THANK YOU to all that attended and participated.

Berkeley Heights Rotary Scholarships Awarded

The Berkeley Heights Rotary Club presented four scholarships to graduating Governor Livingston Seniors at the Chimney Rock Inn on Wednesday, June 29. Four one thousand-dollar Rotary scholarships are awarded annually to students with a minimum 3.5 GPA and have participated in an extra-curricular service such as Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, Interact Club, or other service organizations. The recipients of the 2022 scholarships are Ella Ferrigno, Isabella Straviou, Mei-Ching Huang and Thomas Burke.

Help the Veterans This Holiday Season

This holiday season please consider making this year much brighter for a Veteran at Lyons Hospital. The Rotary Club of Berkeley Heights is collecting adult coloring books, crossword puzzle books, word find books, Suduko puzzle books, sketch pads, colored construction paper, colored markers and colored pencils, crayons and ultra-find point black markers.

New items can be dropped off the entire month of November at:

BH Rotary Bids Farewell to Hal Daume & Linda Sausville

On Thursday, August 23 members of the Berkeley Heights Rotary Club gathered at Fiorino's Restaurant in Summit to give a grand sendoff to long time members Hal Daume and Linda Sausville. Hal and Linda have both served the Berkeley Heights Rotary Club and the local Rotary District in many capacities. They will be missed and we hope they come back and visit often!

Rotary Certificates of Achievements Awarded

On July 29th these five new Eagle Scouts of Troop 368 received the Rotary Certificate of Achievement at their court of honor. This troop, along with Troop 68, is sponsored by the Rotary Club of Berkeley Heights.
