The Greater Salem Rotary Club # 57549, in District # 7930 was chartered in 2002 and sponsored by the Methuen/Salem Rotary Club. Our Club is comprised of local business leaders that are committed to making a positive impact in the communities in which they work and live. Communities served by the Greater Salem NH Rotary Club include: Salem, Pelham, Windham, Atkinson and Hampstead.

Over the years our club has put thousands of dollars and hours of volunteerism into our towns in the way of support and donations. The Greater Salem Rotary Club is proactive in addressing the needs of our communities. A sampling of community projects that the club has participated in include:

  • Holiday Food Baskets to local residents (approximately 60 families per year)
  • Donations to Salem schools for playground improvement
  • Life saving Automated External Defibrillators (AED) to local schools
  • Higher Education Scholarships awarded to local high school students
  • Dictionaries distributed to third grade students in the communities we serve
  • Sponsorship of Salem Fishing Derby
  • Donations to local residents in time of crisis
  • Donations to Tsunami relief projects
  • Donations to Katrina hurricane vicitms
  • International Polio Plus program
  • International Safe Drinking Water programs

The Greater Salem Rotary Club is able to provide these donations through membership fees, donations, and our fund raising events.
