The Alamo Elementary K-Kids Club, an affiliate of the Kiwanis Club of Baytown, recently held a Penny War to raise funds for the Kiwanis International EliMiNaTe Project. The EliMiNaTe Project is a worldwide Kiwanis endeavor to eradicate Material and Neonatal Tetanus from the planet. The Alamo K-Kids raised a total of $1,449.57 and donated the proceeds to the project this summer.
