We held our annual installation dinner last Wednesday at the Swampscott Yacht Club where we installed David Legere as President and his officers. It was a beautiful night and was enjoyed by everyone. Our Rotary turnout was excellent, and we were joined by six of our scholarship winners and their families. David Deutsch from Marblehead and Rotary District 7930 was also with us to officially swear in David and our officers.
Our special thanks go to Debra Goldberg, who not only arranged the venue and food, but also set up and decorated the Yacht Club And, as you noticed, decorated the tables and hand painted the table flowerpots with vintage cars- a theme to honor our incoming "mechanical" president.
I was especially pleased to have a few members and spouses there who have not been able to join us regularly.
