 Wednesday’s Program Speaker - Michelle Bianchi and Jeffery Kin: Player's Theater

Michelle and Jeffery will discuss Players Centre's plans to enhance its programs and artistic reputation.
 
Food Drive - We're at 2,465 pounds; just short of 50% of our goal.  Bring a food donation for All Faiths to Wednesday's meeting.
 
Heads Up Literacy Buddies! -  Books for your buddy are due at the Early Learning Center by April 6th.  Chair Matt Anderson will collect books at the March 28th and April 4th meetings for delivery to the children. 
 
Important Announcement - At last Wednesday's meeting President Elect Pete Kiziu gave 30 day's notice for Board Member elections for the 2018-2019 Kiwanis year.  Elections will be held at the regular April 25th meeting.  Candidates for Officer and Director positions should make themselves known to Peter or President Clark Lauren as soon as possible.
 
Don't Forget  - Kids Need Kiwanis!   It's why we do what we do.

Trash Gleaning on Midnight Pass Road

Saturday, March 24th - 8:00 BC (Before Coffee) a crew of mighty members and several children arrived at the north parking lot of St Michael the Archangel Church on  Midnight Pass Road, Siesta Key.  Their assignment - TRASH.  Crew members were given trash bags and pickers, then sent in small groups to fulfill their mission.
 
In less than a hour, a good walk with a good deed having been completed,  the mighty crew returned with their "treasure trove."  That trove (shown in the photo) included a tire and real estate sign.  Our Mighty Crew included: Jim and Ann Mattson, Lyle Brion, Clark Lauren, new member Tory Flounders , Peter & Nancy Kiziu, new member Jenny Shaw and her boys Sung & Joseph, and Jeanine Signorelli with son Jack.
