CLUB NEWS Wednesday’s ProgramSpeaker - Ron Heller, Humorist & Author speaking on "Active Aging"
Ron is an author of 12 books on laughter, mystery and self help. The former radio and TV personality will open with his case of the "Reverse Pyramid": his latest work - a series of short mystery stories that are written with the attempt to entice readers to become detectives and ferret out the evil deeds.
Our Annual SLP Recognition - Is this Friday! Chair Drew Lowther is asking members to again be a part of this year's SLP recognition and demonstrate support for our SLP Clubs. The RPS (Rock-Paper-Scissors) game gives everyone - including members - the chance to be a champion. Don't miss the opportunity to witness a K-Kid whip a Kiwanis Club member at RPS. (Smart money's on the K-Kid every time.)
Food Drive - Our new total is 3,538 pounds - but we need to pick up the pace if we'll reach our goal of 5,000 pounds by September 30th.. So bring a food donation for All Faiths to Wednesday's meeting, It's OK, really.
Board Meeting - Tuesday May 15 - 5:30 at Mary Lynn's office, her main office on Stickney Point Road near the intersection of Swift and Stickney Point.
