Please join us for this very special parade at Arleta School.
Each year Arleta first graders do a unit study on family, traditions, and symbolism. At the end of the unit each student creates a shoebox parade float representing their family then the first grade parades through the school. The entire school and many family members come to cheer. The Royal Rosarians have had the honor of marshaling this parade for the last several years.
Where: Arleta School, 5109 SE 66th AV, Portland 97206
When: 9 AM; Rosarians please arrive no later than 8:45
Attire: Parade whites, hats, gloves. capes
Notes: Parking will be on street. The entire parade will only take about 20 minutes.
After the parade, the Rosrians gather at Pieper Cafe (6504 SE Foster RD) for coffee and pastries.
