82nd Avenue of Roses Parade

The 17th Annual 82nd Avenue of Roses Parade takes place on Saturday, April 27, stepping off at 9:30am just north of Eastport Plaza at Bush Street, and travels north on 82nd Avenue, turning west onto Yamhill St. in the Montavilla neighborhood and finishing at SE 78th before noon. 

Starting with a small parade in 2007, a small group of businesses, friends and neighbors created a fun, festive and welcoming event that shows off the neighborhoods around 82nd Avenue. The Pandemic slowed down its momentum, but organizers say, “we’re back!” With over 60 languages spoken in SE schools, 82nd Avenue is surrounded by the highest percentage of Asian, Black and Indigenous communities in Portland. The 82nd Avenue of Roses Parade features the best of this diverse community.
