It is with heavy hearts that our club has lost our last remaining founding charter member and Hixson award winner Keith D. Zentner. 

Keith Don Zentner passed away unexpectedly on March 7, 2021 of natural causes. In the true Kiwanis spirit and in lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the Appleton Fox Cities Kiwanis Club with Keith's name in the memo line to

Keith was born on April 6, 1946 in Middleton, Wisconsin to the late Don and Sharlene (Feuling) Zentner. Keith was the longtime owner and operator of Skyline Financial Services. He enjoyed gardening, golfing, crossword puzzles, and word games. He was an enthusiastic Wisconsin Basketball and Football fan. Keith was also a lifelong Green Bay Packer fan. He was an avid user of Social Media and enjoyed keeping in contact with his family and friends over Facebook. He was a member and former President of the Appleton Kiwanis Club.
 
Keith attended and graduated from Middleton High School. He was an alumni of UW Madison. Keith was an avid athlete who lettered in baseball at the UW of Madison Wisconsin.
Keith served in the United States Air Force stationed in Alaska and Montana during the Vietnam War.Keith is survived by his son; Jeffrey C. Zentner; daughter: Karen L. Balczewski (Lon); His grandchildren Kayla, Gregory, Sawyer, and Ashley, and his great grandson Liam.  In addition to his parents, Keith was preceded in death by his siblings, Dean Zentner and Kay Benotsch.
 
Keith will be sadly missed by everyone who knew him.
 
A Funeral Service will be held for Keith at 12 PM on March 19, 2021 at Wichmann Funeral Home, Tri-County Chapel, 1592 Oneida St., Menasha, WI 54952. Family and friends may visit at the funeral home from 9 AM to the time of service. Interment will follow at Highland Memorial Park, 3131 N. Richmond St., Appleton.
