Butterfly Festival Committee

This committee meets regularly to plan and coordinate all aspect of The Butterfly Festival - Helping Families Fly event (morning event in June) at City Park. Join this passionate group of members (all types of skills are needed) that collaborate to organize the club's newest fundraising event.
When do they meet? This committee will meet at least 6 months before the event on the 2nd Tuesday of the month from 12:00pm-1:00pm.

Foundation Advisory Committee

The Appleton - Fox Cities Kiwanis has established the Appleton-Fox Cities Kiwanis Endowment and Charitable Fund through the Community Foundation for the Fox Valley Region, Inc. for the preservation of Kiwanis ideals, charitable contributions, and long-term community support. Our Endowment fund is set up for future charitable projects and the Charitable fund that allows more immediate use of funds. Both of these funds provide the donor with a tax-deductible vehicle through which to contribute to Kiwanis and our programs.
When do they meet? This advisory committee meets at least quarterly or more based on the work of the committee. The members of this committee are voted on by the general membership of our club.

This committee is responsible for coordinating the Golf FORE Children event (in August), one of the four largest annual club fundraising events, including locating and securing a golf course, sponsors, soliciting for door prizes, raffle items and hole events. Proceeds of the event typically go to two partnering non-profits and our own children’s charities.
When do they meet? This committee will meet at least 6 months before the event on a regular schedule.

This committee seeks to have our club meet with a minimum of 10 other clubs in our area (need a minimum of 4 members from each club to count). 10 is the magic number to win a Round Robin award. The focus here is getting members to engage in fellowship with other Kiwanians and see the functioning of other clubs.
