When you think of Christmas and The Salvation Army, images of a red kettle and bell ringers probably form in your mind. Volunteers and donors make Christmas at The Salvation Army happen. Over the years, the Salvation Army has been fortunate to have the loyalty of many who return year after year to help by volunteering their time in a shift or two of bell ringing. Once again our club will have designated bell ringing times. Your first opportunity is Thursday December 6th from 4-6 or 6-8. The second opportunity is Saturday morning, December 8th from 8-10 or 10-12. I know many members enjoy ringing with another Kiwanian or family member, kids especially enjoy helping. Two items to remember: 1) We need cover all shifts, and 2) If you sign-up, please make sure you show up! Uncovered sites result in fewer donations to the Salvation Army, so let’s do our best to cover the sites we select.
