Results are now posted for the Campbell Mtn XC Race.  Thanks to all who came out to race on the new course and a big thanks to Tracey and her crew of volunteers!
 

 
Registration is now open for both the Campbell Mtn. 8.2K XC race on Sunday, Sept. 25th and also the Summerland Sweets 7.4K XC race (and Tripower 3.2K XC) on Sunday, Oct. 2nd.  We are looking for both runners and volunteers.  Those wishing to volunteer for the Campbell Mtn. race should e-mail Tracey McQuair at tmcquair@gmail.com.  Those wishing to volunteer for the Summerland Sweets 7.4K XC/Tripower 3.2K XC should e-mail Mike Braid at jamibraid@shaw.ca .  
 

 
Results for the Blossom 10 Miler are now posted. A challenging race this year, not only for the athletes but for the organizers. The busses and the portapotties did not arrive as promised, leading to a 20 minute late start. Congratulations to Jesse Bauer of Edmonton as the overall winner, after coming second at the Bare Bones Duathlon the day before! A big thanks to RD Carrey Martin and all of her volunteers. Winner of the $50 gift certificate to Earl's was David Nash.
 

 
Results for the Oliver 'Wine Capital of Canada' 10K and 3K are now posted on the Interior Running Association website.  Congratulations to Josh Heinrich on his overall win! 
 

 
Registration is open for the Peach City Runners Blossom 10 Miler to be held on Sunday, May 8th.  You may register online at Zone 4

We are looking for volunteers for the race.  Traffic marshals, aid stations, food set-up, finishline set-up/takedown, registration etc.  Those interested should e-mail Carrey Martin at carreylm@shaw.ca .

Registration is now open for the Oliver 'Wine Capital of Canada' 10/3K run.  You can either print off an entry form from the right side of this page and mail it in, or preferably, register online at Zone 4.  This year's event brings back the 3K.   Hope to see you there on April 12th!

Registration is now open for the Penticton Lakeside Resort 5K Fun Run which will be held on Sunday, March 2nd.  You may either register online (preferred, no extra cost) or download an entry form from this website (link on the right) and mail it in or drop it off at Peach City Runners.  This is a flat, fast course and this year $2 of each entry will go towards the Alzheimer Society of BC in memory of Lorne Smith.  Hope to see you there!

A new distance has been added to the Summerland XC race.  The 3.2K Kid's Run.  This is just a shorter loop of the full 7.4K race.  It is also open to adults!  Age categories are 12/Under, 13-15 years, and 16/plus.  Cost is $8 and you can register at Zone 4.  The cost is $5 more on raceday (Sunday, Oct. 6th).

Date:  Sunday, Oct. 6, 2013.   10 AM Start Time at the rodeo grounds in Summerland.  Hosted by the Penticton Pounders.

** There might be a shorter kids race, should know by Sept. 13th.

Location:  How to get to the Summerland Rodeo Grounds.  From Highway 97 in Summerland, head west on Prairie Valley Road (McDonalds & Tim Hortons at intersection). Take the last exit on the roundabout, up to the four-way stop and continue westward on Prairie Valley Road, at Doherty Avenue turn right and then left onto Bathville Road.  You'll see the signs for the KVR train station and the Rodeo grounds and turn left into the rodeo grounds.  Google Map
Course map/description: http://connect.garmin.com/activity/226613543   This is a 7.4K course.  There are washrooms at the start and medical support on site.  Refreshments, awards and draw prizes after the race.  Course consists of recreational and single track trail and some dirt roads. 

Online sign up (https://zone4.ca/register.asp?id=5294) is available through Zone 4 Systems for the 7.4K race. Please use online sign up whenever possible as it aids with administration on race day. Last day of online registration is Oct. 5, 18:00 PST.

Entry fee:  $12   Add $5 for race day entry.    BC Athletic members save $3.

Date:  Sunday, Sept. 29, 2013.   10 AM Start Time at north side of Campbell Mountain.  Hosted by the Penticton Pounders

Location:  How to get to Campbell Mountain.  From Hwy 97 North, when you enter town and cross the river channel take the first left at the lights onto Westminster Avenue and follow it all the way downtown where it will change to Front Street. After the roundabout go up Vancouver Avenue (road to Naramata) and follow it all the way to Reservoir Road (Penticton Landfill sign) and turn right. Follow Reservoir Road up past the Landfill (staying right) and after you cross the cattleguard the dirt access road is 200 metres further on the righthand side. Course map/description:  http://connect.garmin.com/activity/366905491   There is one aid station at the 7K mark.  There is a porta-potty at the start and medical support on site.  Refreshments, awards and draw prizes after the race.  Course consists of dirt roads and challenging single track.  Uphill finish.  Southeast portion has changed slightly from last year with a bit more single track.

Online signup is available through Zone 4 Systems .  No extra charge for online registration.
Last day of online registration is Sept. 28th, 18:00 PST.

Entry fee:  $12
