There were 30 members in attendance with Les & Mindy visiting from the Aktion Club and an interclub from Nevada. Vern reported a can deposit of $61.75. Hollie reported on the recent Aktion Club meeting and invited members to be speakers at future meetings. Pat reported that Teen Maze could use more volunteers for the event on April 6th. Randy reported that the grill has been repaired, but still needs to be painted. President Palmer reminded members that there will be a board meeting on April 1st.

Lori Subbert had the program today. She invited Tom Harrington of Jefferson to speak about the A&W Restaurant location that is being remodeled. Tom is tentatively planning to open on April 12th. They will offer Dine-in and Drive-thru service. The location has a completely new interior and will seat 73 people. Hours are planned to be 11am-10pm seven days a week. They plan to employ around 23 people and are still needing to fill a few positions. Tom has owned the Jefferson A&W franchise since 2000 and plans to offer the old location for sale once they get settled in the new building (former Hardees/Excuses building). Thanks to Lori and Tom for the update on the move and we wish Tom the best of luck in their new location!
