There were 25 members in attendance today. Visitors included Les from the Aktion Club and Pastor Dan Emmert. Dan B. reported a can drop of $155.55 for the last two weeks. Sherry P. reminded members that Silent Auction item sheets are due to her Oct. 1st. It was reported that the Aktion Club met last Monday and is planning a trip to visit the Ames Club and are working on plans for their Halloween Dance. Tim C. spoke about the Annual Pancake Breakfast on Oct. 28th and Bob Smith handed out tickets to members present to sell. Get your tickets and posters from Bob. Sell, Sell, Sell!! There is a Div. 11 Council Meeting in Ames on Saturday, Sept.30th at 8:30 am and Vern and Bob Smith may be attending.
REMINDER: Officer Installation is next week. Breakfast will start at 6:15am and the ceremony at 6:45am!
Ken Paxton (Greene County Development Corp.) had the program today. He provided updates on several items including: Vision 20/20, Housing in Greene Co., Apprenticeship Program, and Factory Tours. Thanks to Ken for the update!
