* We took in $68.05 in pop can collections this week.
* The Aktion Club is now selling tickets for their Halloween dance on October 29th.
* We have approximately 46 silent auction items in with a few more trickling in.  Will continue to accept items and put them up online as we can.  Please share the Facebook album with your family and friends for bidding on items!  We've seen a few bids already!
* Pancake breakfast plans are going well and the volunteer sign-up sheet started circulating at the meeting today.
* Haley was not able to accept the scholarship to attend the Kiwanis Leadership training in November because she is already committed to something that weekend with the Honor Society.  This might be an issue for many of our high school students but if you know of someone in high school that would be a good candidate for the leadership training, let Vern know.
* Vern Foje is going to the Salvation Army bell ringing planning meeting as a representative of our group.
* Randy Monthei reported that volunteers put in 60 hours this past weekend grilling for the annual Deal's Orchard Fall Festival.
* Kiwanians are parking cars for the last home football game of the season this Friday, October 20th.
Hollie Roberts had the program today and brought in Bonnie Orris, RPh and Jess Brown, RW from Greene County Medical Center to speak about their MedSafe disposal (co-sponsored by Medicap Pharmacy) and their new infusion center services at Greene County Medical Center.
