There were 27 members in attendance with Les visiting from the Aktion Club. Vern reported a can deposit of $81.85. Hollie reported on planning for the Aktion Club Christmas party and that they will have Officer Installation on January 15th, 2018. Vern reported on the Salvation Army Bell Ringing so far, if you want to ring contact Vern for time/date opportunities.
Dr. Jim Teusch had the program today. He invited Jen Badger to talk about her two companies (Shine On Designs & More Time Consignment) that recently moved to the square and a GC Elementary t-shirt donation opportunity. Badger took over Shannon Screen Printing from Karen Shannon in 2013 after a few years as a stay at home mom. She previously worked as a dental hygienist in Perry, but didn’t want to return to the daily commute.  She’ll create anything from Greene County and other local high school-related shirts to local race team shirts, sorority shirts, promotional materials and even a custom shirt for your best friend. She discussed a RAM (Right Attitudes Make Success) t-shirt for GC Elementary students with club members and will get us more information. Thanks to Jim and Jen for the informative program!
