There were 30 members in attendance today along with guest Les visiting from the Aktion Club and new member Ian Wilkinson. Several happy dollars were shared. Vern reported a can deposit of $102.60. The Aktion Club Holiday Party will be on Dec. 10th. Members shared thoughts and stories about the loss of our last remaining club charter member, Dean McAtee.
It was also announced that several donations were received. Laura Meyer sent us a check for$500 in memory of her husband and past member John Meyer. Todd Foje and siblings also made a donation of $500 in the name of long-time club member and volunteer Vern Foje (their dad). Kiwanis would like to thank these donors for their generosity and support of the club and our mission!
Denny Hammen provided the program. He invited Caden Telleen and his mom Samantha to talk about the Kiwanis Key Leader Camp that Caden attended earlier in the month. The club sponsored Caden's fee for attending. Thanks to Caden for the update!
