There were 27 members in attendance today. Hollie reported that the Aktion Club Officer Installation was postponed to Jan. 29th at the Harrison House due to the weather. Mark Bauer had the program today. He invited Derrik Bauer to speak to us about a new fire truck that is being sought for the department. They are investigating a new truck to replace the white fire truck that was purchased used in Texas. Instead of a full blown traditional truck at a cost of $250,000 they are proposing a large 4 door/4 wheel drive style pickup equipped with a Ultra High Pressure (UHP) pump. Derrik discussed the pros and cons of this type of vehicle. Thanks to Mark and Derrik for the interesting program!
