Kiwanis International is proposing a $15 dues increase for the upcoming Kiwanis year.  They are down 38,000 members since 2003-2004.  This will be discussed at a later date, when and if the proposal passes and the repercussions it will have on our members.

The Aktion Club will be working the Farmer’s Market on June 5th.  Linda has asked members to bring bars.

Vern discussed the Sign at Pamida for the can depot and also the cage used for collection.  The cage will need to be moved with all the construction going on.  Vern will talk to Old 30 Grill to see if they might be interested in the sign, as they have a similar sign.  Otherwise we plan to discard it.

Lisa suggested we have our photo taken with the students going on the VICA trip.  We donated $1,613 towards this event.  This is a $500 line item plus the money we raised at the open house.

A motion was made by Vern and seconded by Pat Miller to adjourn the meeting.  The meeting adjourned at 7:34 a.m.
