Barry Hartley, our President, presided over today’s meeting. Thanks to all who attended.

 

Our March 7, 2022 will be held at Holiday Inn at 12:15 PM. We will be required to follow current COVID mandates.

 

A Rotary Club brochure has been sent to all members. Ron Miller will spearhead the draft of our new brochure. If any members have any suggestions or comments about this brochure please contact Ron directly..

 

Don Fletcher sent us a draft plan for our membership drive last week, I forward it to the membership. We are now in the process of developing a plan for our membership drive. If members have any suggestions or comments please contact Don Fletcher Directly. We will require volunteers to make this plan successful. If you would like to volunteer please contact Don directly

 

Steve Gallagher agreed to get information required on potential Southwester advertising/promotional article.

 

Barry Hartley will present a possible “incentive program” to incite interest from the community and to spark interest in Membership.

 

Shelley is working on several possible programs... but she can’t do it on her own. We need a committee to help make our meetings interesting and interactive

East AM Rotary’s Comedy Night is April 1, 2022 at the Met. The plan is to sell both live and virtual tickets. Any tickets sold our club would receive half of the price of the ticket. Email was sent to all members on March 2^nd on how to purchase tickets etc.

 

Rotary International President, Jennifer Jones, will be visiting Winnipeg in early July. A Committee is being put together by all of the Winnipeg Rotary clubs to determine what we will do during Jennifer’s visit. Don Fletcher will be attending a meeting on February 14^th. He will provide us with am update after this meeting.

 

Our sister club in Detroit Lakes will be celebrating their 100^th anniversary this year. We will be investigating to see if our Winnipeg clubs can do something with the Detroit lakes club during the spring/summer. Maybe a meeting at the International Peace Gardens
