We will be having Remembrance Day at Rotary Villa on Saturday November 11th. Doors open at 10:15 AM and we would like everyone seated by 10:45. We will be serving lunch after the service.
No meeting on November 13, 2017 because we will all be at Rotary Villa on Saturday November 11th.
Our District 5550 is making a big push to support Polio Plus. The goal is to raise $75,000 by April 30, 2018. Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation will double the funds raised by the Rotary clubs. The 5 Rotary Clubs of Saskatoon have committed to raise $20,000.The Rotary Clubs of Regina and Winnipeg have been challenged to meet Saskatoon’s commitment of $20,000. We collected over two hundred dollars today for Polio Plus, in a couple of weeks we will send all money collected to Rotary International re Polio Plus. If anyone wants to donate and would like a tax receipt, we can request a tax receipt from Rotary International for the amount of your donation when we send our cheque to them.
