We were pleased to welcome Ron Hogue and Nicole Chammartin from Victoria Hospital Foundation.
Barry Hartley, our president took the meeting today. Thanks to all who attended
Our club was 60 years old on May 14, 2022. Our celebration will take place on October 19, 2022 at the Holiday Inn South. We will be celebrating our clubs 60th Anniversary and Ted Foreman's 60th year with our club. We will be having a dinner, tickets will be $150.00 each. More information will be passed on to members has they become available. In the meantime SAVE THE DATE so you can attend our celebration dinner
Our Half Marathon and 5KM fun run will be held on Sunday, September 18th. Thanks to all the people who volunteered to make this event a success. Setup for Sunday's race will be on Saturday September 17th at Noon at St. Vital Park.
Ron and Nicole spoke a bit about the Foundation and that they have just completed the fund raising for the Miracle Gardens nd are now working on raising money for a walkway at the Vic to be called Tranquility Gardens. This walkway will be used by patients and staff.
Our District Governor, Fred Wright, will attend our meeting on October 3, 2022. He will allso attend our Anniversary Dinner on October 19th.
