Hal Brownlee, our President, held a Zoom meeting this week, thanks to everyone who participated.
Our 2021 Half Marathon will be held on Sunday, September 19, 2021. St. Vital Park has been booked
Rotary Adventures in Citizenship will resume in 2021 but it will be virtual. Rotary Adventures in Citizenship will take place May 1 – 5. Registration opens to clubs and students on March 8th. Registration closes on March 22nd at 8 PM EST. Payment is due between March 8th & March 22nd. Students must be between 16 and 18 when the event starts on May 1st. For this year only they have raised the age limit to 19
Speaker Series – will continue on March 22nd when Nazir Ahmad will do his craft talk.
East AM Rotary Club will be having a virtual comedy night on April 29, 2021. Cost $20.00 per ticket, with 50% of the value of the ticket will staying with our club if we sold the ticket. More information will be made available in the weeks ahead.

Speaker: Steve Gallagher, was introduced by Hal Brownlee. Steve was born in Winnipeg but his family moved to Yorkton to farm shortly after at. Returning ti Winnipeg in 1984.He did various jobs until he became a real estate agent, he runs his business, Gallagher Group, with his sister. Steve is married and they have three children. Steve enjoys several hobbies such as Golf, Fishing, Hockey and restoring old trucks. He joined Rotary in 2012. Steve has found Rotary very helpful and has given him the opportunity to do things that he might not have done otherwise.

District Conference is scheduled for Melford May 14-15 2021.The theme for this years conference is The Family of Rotary. This conference has been moved to an online conference. More information will be passed on as soon as we receive them
