Rotary Adventures in Citizenship will resume in 2021 but it will be virtual
Hal expects challenges in attending the virtual District Leadership Seminar (formally PETS) and is encouraging members interested in learning more about Rotary leadership and resources at the district level to sit in for him. It is a great opportunity to meet and brainstorm with the District Executive Team and President from the entire district. Dates are Feb 26th 5 PM – 9 PM, March 12th 4 PM – 8 Pm and March 13th 9 AM to 1 PM. If you are interested please contact Hal.
Speaker Series – Steve Gallagher on March 8th. Ted Foreman will speak in June near his 58th Anniversary with the club. If there are no other volunteers forthcoming a randomized schedule will be presented soon so all members have a chance to do a craft talk.

Head to the Forks on Feb 23rd. This is the 116th Anniversary of Rotary International. The Winnipeg sign at the Forks will be lit in Rotary colours to mark the Rotary Anniversary. Take all the photos you can and post on all your social media channels. Let’s Celebrate the good that Rotarians do at home and around the world.

Speaker: Ron Miller did his craft talk today. Everyone enjoyed his talk and appreciated that he spoke about the good and not so good times in his life. Ron was around and working in construction all of his life. As a young lad his Grandfather and Father were involved in their own construction company. Ron has spent most of his time in Winnipeg but he did spend a few years in Saskatchewan. Ron joined Rotary when he was 27. At that time he was the youngest member of the Saskatchewan club that he joined. Ron has enjoyed his years in Rotary and always feels that he gets more from Rotary then he gave. Ron worked with different companies in Winnipeg, then in 2007 is got the opportunity to buy Thomas Design Builders with his sons Jeff and Trevor. He described the years of working with his sons the best decision that he has made and he enjoyed working with his sons.

District Conference is scheduled for Melford May 14-15 2021.The theme for this years conference is The Family of Rotary. This conference has been moved to an online conference. More information will be passed on as soon as we receive them
