G E A R Next meeting: Monday October 21, 2019 at 12:15 Guest Speaker: TBA Hal Brownlee, our President, opened the meeting with the singing of O’Canada and Rotary grace. We were pleased to welcome Ed Baetz Announcement. - Our District Governor will be coming to Winnipeg for meetings on October 8, 2019. These meetings will be held at Canad Inns Polo Park. All members are encouraged to attend one of meetings. All details of these meeting have been sent in a separate e-mail. Please contact Hal Brownlee and advise him which meeting you plan on attending. We will not be having a meeting on October 7th to help encourage members to attend the District Governor meeting on October 8th.
- On October 24, 2019 the Winnipeg Rotary Club will be hosting a Ride for Polio at the Winnipeg Winter Club at 7:15 PM. Our club would like to enter a team, a team would be made up of four people each riding for 15 minutes. If you would like to sign up please let Hal Brownlee know. All monies that we collect for Fines and Happy/Sad Bucks for the next month will be donated to the Ride for Polio.
- November 11th we will be having our Remembrance Day service and Lunch at Rotary Villa. November 11th is on a Monday, so we will not have our regular Monday meeting at the Holiday Inn. More details will be provided later.
