Habeetat Allimson is now our newest board member effective immediately.
Our meeting scheduled for March 20, 2017 at 7:15 AM has been changed to Wednesday March 22, 2017 at 12:15 PM at the Holiday Inn same room as our Monday’s meetings. No meeting on Monday March 20, 2017. We are changing things up a little because we want more members to attend our weekly meetings.
Steve, thanked everyone for attending our meeting on February 13th when Scott Oake was our guest speaker. We had almost one hundred people in attendance. Special Thanks to Ted Foreman who made it all possible.
District 5550 Conference will be held in Kenora May 25 – 28, 2017.Registriation is available on the website.
R.I. Conference will be held in Atlanta, Georgia June 10 – 16, 2017. Registration is now available through the RI website.

The weekly accumulator draw this week was for $94.00. Bill Lightly drew the Queen of Clubs
Guest Speaker; Chris Lorenc was introduced by Habee. Chris spoke about how trade is the backbone of our country and how infrastructure that helps trade is very important. He spoke about how CentrePort is very important to Winnipeg, Manitoba and Canada. It has brought in millions of dollars in new private investments, with millions more to come. He feels that we are in a good position for trade but we have to be watchful that we don’t miss the opportunity. He feels that the Port of Churchill should be used to its full capacity. Shelly Killeen thanked Chris for coming to talk to us.

We have decided to continue with our once morning a month meeting. The idea was to have the morning meeting on the third Monday of each month but because of holidays this will not always be possible. So the dates for the morning meetings for the next six months are:
