Our 2021 Half Marathon will be held on Sunday, September 19, 2021. St. Vital Park has been booked. Because of COVID, if we haven’t received approval for our Half Marathon for 2021 by August 1^st, the 2021 Half Marathon will be Cancelled.

The District is having their last talk show of the year. Please join us to explore our over 100 fun Fellowship groups in Rotary. We will take a look at two important ones: Rotary Peace Fellows and Paul Harris Fellow. Inform us about Rotary Friendship Exchange and we’ll look at other unique “Fellowship” opportunities. You are invited to a Zoom meeting on June 3^rd at 8 PM. You will need to register in advance (Registration will close at 10 PM on June 2^nd.) Speaker: Mark Fenny did his craft talk today. It is always interesting learning about our fellow Rotarians. Mark moved around during his younger years and spent several summers at Camp Stevenson. In 1971 he married his wife Gloria and they had two daughters. Mark spent most of his working like in money management and working for such companies as Sun life, various Trust companies and CIBC. He was also president of Trust Association. Mark also belonged to various service organizations such as Masons, Shriner's and Rotary. Mark was president of our club and has been involved in numerous activities over the years. Mark also plays the Bag Pipes. It was an enjoyable talk and well received by members in attendance.

District Conference is scheduled for Melford May 14-15 2021.The theme for this years conference is The Family of Rotary. This conference has been moved to an online conference.

 

Rotary International Convention will be virtual this year and will be held June 12^th to 16^th.

 

Next Zoom Meeting will be June 7, 2021 at Noon.
