G E A R Next meeting: Monday November 18, 2019 at 12:15 Guest Speaker: Cadence Shedden & Tory Hruska Hal Brownlee, our President, opened the meeting with the singing of O’Canada and Rotary grace. We were pleased to welcome Bert Wold Announcements: - November 11th we will be having our Remembrance Day service and Lunch at Rotary Villa. November 11th is on a Monday, so we will not have our regular Monday meeting at the Holiday Inn. Remembrance Day Service will be at 11 AM. We ask that everyone be seated by 10:30 AM, so that the Head Table can be seated. After the service, lunch will be served.
- November 18, 2019 Cadence Shedden & Tory Hruska will be our guest speakers. They went to the RYLA camp at Clear Lake the last two years.
- At the Board meeting on November 4th a motion was passed to send $1,500 to Polio Plus. This is the $1,000 the club donated and the fines collected for October rounded up to $500.
Sergeant-at-Arms: Happy Bucks: Barry/Shelley/Bill/Ron The weekly accumulator draw, today, was $72.00. Don Fletcher drew the Queen of Diamonds Guest Speaker: Tanya Williams from HSC Charities. She spoke about the great work that they do and showed a video of one of their success stories. They support Music and Clown programs. All money raised that goes go research, is for research done in Manitoba. Up Coming Events: November 18th – Guest Speakers will be cadence Shedden and Tory Hruska.
