Marathon Site is up and running for our 2025 Marathon and 5 Km Fun Run. Our Half Marathon and 5 Km Fun Run will be held on September 21, 2025.
The Presidents meeting from last week-
-Planning a clean-up day around the Westminster Housing projects at 189 Spence Street and two others. They are hoping to do this on June 14th. So far this has not been confirmed. Will advise everyone when we receive further information.
- Charleswood Rotary will be having their Lobster fest on Friday June 13, 2025. Curbside pickup will be from 3 - 7 PM at Varsity View Community Centre, 315 Laxdal Road. For Further information go to www.charleswoodrotary.org
-District 5550 still needs to increase their enrolment to avoid our district being terminated and the various Rotary Clubs absorbed by other districts. Rotary International would make that decision. To keep our District 5550 we need 1100 members.
-The Rotary Clubs are asking for members to attend the Pride Parade. This year this parade is on Sunday June 1, 2025. Rotarians will gather by the legislative grounds in Row D at 10 AM.
Rotary International Convention 2025 will be held in Calgary June 21 - 25, 2025.

Our next board meeting will be June 23, 2025 at Rotary Villa
Until further notice our meetings will be held at Rotary Villa, 528 Hudson Street, Winnipeg, MB. We had a conversation with the school next door and they have agreed that we can park at the school on Mondays when we have our meetings. They have asked that we park in the middle area, as the perimeter parking is for staff.

Meeting Dates in August - 11th & 25th. Aug. 25th will also be a board meeting
Meeting Dates in September - 8th & 29th. Sept. 29th will also be a board meeting
Meeting Dates in October - 6th & 20th. Oct. 20th will also be a board meeting
Meeting Dates in November - 3rd & 17th. Nov. 17 will also be a board meeting
Meeting Date in December - 1st & 15th. Dec 15th will also be a board meeting
