Our 2021 Half Marathon will be held on Sunday, September 19, 2021. St. Vital Park has been booked. The Half Marathon Committee has made the decision to proceed with the Half Marathon this year.
Barry Hartley will be looking after the volunteers this year. If any members, your friends or family would like to help out with the Half Marathon please contact Barry directly.
Great news! starting September 13th we will start up our in person lunches at the Holiday Inn. We will be in our normal spot, in the room at the back of the restaurant. We will have to follow current Health restrictions. I will be sending out an email before September 13th outlining what rules we will have to follow.

Speaker: Our speaker this week was Cadence Shedden. She attended the online RYLA camp this year and also attended the RYLA camp in 2019. She found the experience very rewarding, it helped her to become more self confident and helped her to decide what she would like to do in life. Current she hopes to get involved in Mental Health. Cadence has been selected to be a counsellor at RYLA next year. It appears that even if RYLA has a camp next year they are also planning on have an e-RYLA for those who can’t attend camp, this is the area that Cadence will be involved with. Cadence thought that the speaker were really good and they all welcomed questions.

Rotary International Convention next year will be held in Huston, on June 4 – 8, 2022. If you register early the cost will be $425. For more information please go to

We will not have a meeting on September 6, 2021 because of the Labour Day long weekend.
September 13th we will have our first in person meeting for a long time. I will send out an email next week, after touching base with the Holiday Inn, outlining the Health Directives that we have to follow. We are looking forward to seeing you all there.
