We were pleased to welcome
Ron Miller, our president, presided over our meeting today. Thanks to all who attended.
Our Half Marathon and 5 Km Fun Run was a great success this year. We had 389
runners. Half Marathon 257 and 5 KM Fun Run 132. We also raised $60,950 through Sponsorship. Our club would like to say a big thank you to everyone who help to make the Half Marathon and 5KM Fun Run a big success this year.
Our Half Marathon & 5Km Fun made a profit of $44,284 this year. Our Rotary Club will receive 15% of this amount. Also at our Board meeting on Monday November 18th, the Board approved a donation of $8,000.00 to the Ann Oak Family Recovery Centre and $7,500 to Knowles Centre.
We will be having a Christmas Party for Rotary Villa on Wednesday December 18th at 4:30 PM, everyone is welcome. More information to follow when it becomes available.
Rotary International Convention 2025 will be held in Calgary June 21 - 25, 2025. This is a great chance for Rotarians to attend an International Conference that is being held so close to Winnipeg. We will send you more information as it becomes available
Our next board meeting will be Monday December 16, 2024 at Rotary Villa, in Stephen's office at 11 A. M.

The weekly accumulator draw was for $79.00, Lynne Johnson drew the King of Spades and won the draw.. We have changed the lucky card to the King of Spades.

Upcoming Events:
Until further notice our meetings will be held at Rotary Villa, 528 Hudson Street, Winnipeg, MB. We had a conversation with the school next door and they have agreed that we can park at the school on Mondays when we have our meetings. They have asked that we park in the middle area, as the perimeter parking is for staff.
