Hal Brownlee, our President, held a Zoom meeting this week, thanks to everyone who participated.
Rotary is encouraging all members to consider making a donation to Polio Plus. The District suggest that each member contributed $20.20. Anyone wishing to make a donation can either send an E-Transfer for the amount to martinjcoward@gmail.com or send a cheque to me at 232 Marlton Crescent, Winnipeg, MB R3R 1A4. A big thank you to those members who have already contributed.
There will be a Rotary Public image work shop on November 21st 9 AM – 12PM.the main speakers are:
- Keynote Speaker – Mary Lou Harrison – How to talk about Rotary
- Jenna Rainbault – Connecting with your community
- Ron Nordstrom – Using Power point effectively.

A Financial Group Philanthropic Contest 2020 Applications
Patty Vann, our district youth director sent out a link with an encouragement to vote for Mikinakoos Children’s Fund, which will help alleviate child poverty in our District. Many other great causes are on the list.

Speakers: Hal Brownlee, our president, introduced our speaker Priscilla Kolade, Priscilla, thanked our club for the scholarship that she received from us this year. She also spoke about the very positive experience she had when we sent her to Ottawa for Rotary Adventures in Citizenship. She spoke about the people that she met and how she is still in contact with a lot of them today. She enjoyed most aspects of Rotary Adventures in Citizenship especially listing to what people had to say across Canada. She enjoyed the different points of view from across Canada.
