We were pleased to welcome
Ron Miller, our president, presided over our meeting today. Thanks to all who attended.
We have looked at the Caboto Centre and it has been decided that we will try out the Caboto Centre for our June meetings. If members approve, this could be our new lunch meeting place. We will be meeting in Cafe 13, which is to your right once you come in through the main doors. The Caboto Centre is at 1055 Wilkes Avenue. Meeting dates for June will be June 10th and 24th. The Caboto Centre has lots of parking.
Rotary Adventure in Citizenship will take place in Ottawa May 26 - 29/24. We will be sending Nabonita Sarker from Fort Richmond Collegiate this year
Rotary International Convention 2025 will be held in Calgary June 21 - 25, 2025. This is a great change for Rotarians to attend an International Conference that is being held so close to Winnipeg. We will send you more information as it becomes available
Our Half Marathon and 5 KM fun run will be held on Sunday September 22, 2024. Registration is now open.
Ted's 90th Birthday Celebration was on Sunday May 5th and was well attended. Thanks to all the Rotarians who took time from their busy schedule to attend the event.
Our club has donated $3,500 to Victoria Hospital Foundation for a bench in the garden ares that is being created at Access Fort Garry by the Victoria Hospital Foundation.
