G E A R Next meeting: Monday December 17, 2018 at 12:15 Guest Speaker: TBA Our president, Hal Brownlee, opened the meeting with the signing of O’Canada and Rotary Grace. We were pleased to welcome Les Wiens, Marty Mitchell, Cal Higgins and Scott Campbell Announcements - Monday December 17, 2018 will be our Christmas Luncheon. For this lunch only we will be moving to the Portage Ballroom, Same place we used to have our weekly meetings.
- Christmas Dinner at Rotary Villa will be on Tuesday December 18, 2018. Rotarians are invited to attend. If anyone would like to help out with serving the dinner can contact Shelley. Anyone attending should arrive at 4:15 PM.
- This year there will be no Rotary meeting on December 24th and December 31st.
Sergeant-at-Arms: Happy Bucks: The weekly accumulator draw, today, was $165.00. Barry Hartley drew the Queen of Hearts Guest Speaker: Don Thompson has been involved with the Shriners for twenty-five years. He spoke mostly about the Shriners hospital in Montreal. This hospital has treated 1.3 million children since it opened. The hospital only treats children under 18 years of age. Don showed video of the work being done, especially for burn victims Up Coming Events - December 17th will be our Christmas lunch. For this lunch we will be moved to the Portage Ballroom, so everyone can be accommodated for our Christmas lunch.
