Our District 5550 is making a big push to support Polio Plus. The goal is to raise $75,000 by April 30, 2018. Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation will double the funds raised by the Rotary clubs. The 5 Rotary Clubs of Saskatoon have committed to raise $20,000.The Rotary Clubs of Regina and Winnipeg have been challenged to meet Saskatoon’s commitment of $20,000. We collected over two hundred dollars today for Polio Plus, in a couple of weeks we will send all money collected to Rotary International re Polio Plus. If anyone wants to donate and would like a tax receipt, we can request a tax receipt from Rotary International for the amount of your donation when we send our cheque to them.
Our Christmas Dinner will be held at Rotary Villa on December 20, 2017 at 5:30 PM all Rotary members and their partners are invited to attend. More information will follow shortly. We will be sending out an e-mail for confirmation on who is planning to attend because we will need a head count so we can determine how much food is needed.
