G E A R Next meeting: Monday January 6, 2020 at 12:15 Guest Speaker: TBA Hal Brownlee, our President, opened the meeting with the singing of O’Canada and Rotary grace. We were pleased to welcome Joanne Gordon Announcements - Our next Rotary meeting will be January 6, 2020.
- Ted Foreman brought in three Christmas Cakes, members bought tickets and we were able to raise $160.00 for the Christmas Cheer Board.
- Manitoba Government would like for us to purchase Rotary Villa. The Board from Rotary Villa and Fort Garry Rotary Club have looked at what they are offering. On January 6, 2020 they will discuss this with our membership so we can decided if we want to buy or pass on the offer. We are looking forward to a large turnout so that everyone can understand what is being offered and help decide how we should proceed.
- On Friday January 24, 2020 Rotary Club of Winnipeg East will be sponsoring their 19th Annual Charity Comedy Night featuring Big Daddy Tazz and Friends. This takes place at the Metropolitan Entertainment Centre 261 Donald Street at 7:30 PM.(doors open at 6:00). Tickets are $30. If anyone is interested in buying ticket you can contact Joanne Gordon directly or you can contact Hal Brownlee or Martin Coward.
- Marathon for 2020 will be on Sunday September 20th,
