Announcements
Our meeting scheduled for March 20, 2017 at 7:15 AM has been changed to Wednesday March 22, 2017 at 12:15 PM at the Holiday Inn same room as our Monday’s meetings. No meeting on Monday March 20, 2017. We are changing things up a little with the hope that we will have more members attending our weekly meetings.
District 5550 Conference will be held in Kenora May 25 – 28, 2017.Registriation is available on the website.
Teddy Bear picnic will be held on Sunday May 28, 2017.
R.I. Conference will be held in Atlanta, Georgia June 10 – 16, 2017. Registration is now available through the RI website.
Our Half Marathon and 5 KM race will take place on Sunday September 17, 2017. There was a Half Marathon and 5 KM race meeting before our regular meeting on Monday. Everything is progressing and things that can be worked on, are being worked on. More information will follow when we get closer to the run date.

The weekly accumulator draw this week was for $115.00. Grant drew the ten of Diamonds.
Guest Speaker; Tyler MacAfee was introduced by Don Fletcher. Tyler is the Director of Corporate Communications for Winnipeg Airport Authority. He mentioned that the Winnipeg Airport came in third place for an award that is voted on by the travelling public worldwide. This is determined by the result of a survey. He also talked about the fact that the airport works on a twenty year plan. So far they are seeing their numbers being met ahead of schedule for revenue and number of passengers. He was very proud of their Gold Wing volunteer program that they have at the airport. These Gold Wing volunteers give assistance to passengers when required. They are also looking at more ways to expand and always looking for more direct routes from Winnipeg. Pat thanked Tyler for coming to speak to pur group.

We have decided to continue with our once morning a month meeting. The idea was to have the morning meeting on the third Monday of each month but because of holidays this will not always be possible. So the dates for the morning meetings for the next six months are:
