Ron Miller, president, presided over our meeting today. Thanks to all who attended.
July and August we will be concentrating on our Half Marathon and 5KM Fun Run. We will not be having a formal Board Meeting during July and August. Anything that needs to be dealt with will be done at our regular meeting
Volunteers for the Half Marathon is being worked on by Shelley with support from Kathy. Construction will be going on over the summer on parts of our Half Marathon route, this is being watch closing by Jeff. Should not be an issue at Race time.
September 15, 2026 will be when the volunteers at Fort Richmond Collegiate will be briefed in their responsibility for the Half Marathon and 5 KM Fun Run. Shelley will be doing this presentation..
Our number of runners for the Half Marathon and our 5KM Fun Run continue to be strong and we expect a record number of runners this year.
Please note that the date for our first meeting in September will be the 14th. Our next meeting will be next week, Sept. 21st and will start at 11:30 AM we will NOT be having a board meeting on the 21th.
Our Half Marathon and 5 KM fun Run is on September 27th. September 26th, Saturday, will be setup day and volunteers will be required to help with the setup.
Sergeant-at-Arms:
Ted McIntosh will be our Sergeant-at-Arms for the rest out our current Rotary year.
The weekly accumulator draw was for $65.00, Don Fletcher drew the Ace of Diamonds.

Until further notice our meetings will be held at Rotary Villa, 528 Hn Stret, Winnipeg, MB. We had a conversation with the school next door and they have agreed that we can park at the school on Mondays when we have our meetings. They have asked that we park in the middle area, as the perimeter parking is for staff.
