G E A R Next meeting: Monday May 27, 2019 at 12:15 Guest Speaker: TBA Hal Brownlee, our President, opened the meeting with the singing of O’Canada and Rotary Grace We were pleased to welcome all the people who came out to our Sponsorship Lunch Announcement - This year the Half Marathon and 5KM run will be held on September 15, 2019. Half Marathon and 5KM Fun Run online registration for our Half Marathon and 5KM run is now open.
- Midtown Ford will once again be a Major sponsor. They have agreed to $15,000 for the next three years.
- No Meeting on Monday May 20th because of Victoria Day.
- Teddy Bear Picnic will be on Sunday May 26th we will be cooking the food again this year. We will need volunteers for the setup on Saturday May 25th and on Sunday May 26th for cooking etc. If you haven’t already done so please complete the volunteer form and forward to Jeff Miller or Martin Coward.
- Today was our sponsorship lunch. It was great to see those who came out. We presented a cheque to Knowles Centre for $18,000. We also donate $25,255 to Bruce Oake Recovery Centre.
