We were pleased to welcome Joanne Gordon

  Hal Brownlee, our President, arranged for a Zoom meeting. Thanks to all those who participated.

 

Our District Conference was on May 23, 2020, Joanne Gordon took part in the conference. Sixty-one people registered and 55 people attended the virtual conference. Joanne said that it was a good experience and all resolutions but forward were passed.

 

Our District is still looking for a treasurer, if anyone is interested or know anyone who would be interested is asked to contact Hal Brownlee directly. This position would require someone with a good accounting background.

 

 

The Holiday Inn is still closed and will remain close until at least June 30^th. They will let us know when they are re-opened for business.

 

Jeff Miller is still working on the scholarships for 2019/2020 he is just waiting for the school to get back to him. This should be finalized in the next week or so.

 

Teddy Bear picnic was on Sunday May 31^st, it was presented virtually this year. They had a full list of activities for people to do all day. Jeff Miller participated by doing a short video on making pancakes.

 

 

Marathon for 2020 is supposed to be on Sunday September 20^th, At our Zoom meeting in June 15^th a decision will be made as to if we will have a Marathon this year, when and what form will it be if we do proceed with the Marathon.
