G E A R Next meeting: Monday September 24, 2018 at 12:15 Guest Speaker: TBA Our president, Hal Brownlee, opened the meeting with the signing of O’Canada and Rotary Grace. We were pleased to welcome Ed, Dorothy and Don Announcements - We had another successful Half Marathon and 5 Km Family Fun Run on Sunday September 16, 2018. Our club appreciated everyone who came out to help and would like to thank everyone for helping to make this years’ run a success. We would like to thank Calm Air for donating trips for the winners of the race, and Holiday Inn south for once again providing the food. We had approximately 235 runner, Half Marathon 155 and Family Fun Run 80.
- Membership Invoices were sent to all members on June 12, 2018. Several Members still haven’t paid their membership for 2018 -2019 membership fees are now due. This year, we have another payment option, you can pay your Membership Dues by E-transfer by sending your E-Transfer to martinjcoward@gmail.com.
- Paul Harris invoices were sent to members on July 9, 2018. Paul Harris invoices are now due.
- There will be a BBQ at Rotary Villa on September 25, 2018 at 4 PM Members are invited to attend. If anyone would like to help with the cooking let Shelley know. After the BBQ there will be a Rotary Villa board meeting.
- On Sunday November 11th we will once again be having our Remembrance Day Service at Rotary Villa. Lunch will be at 1 PM with the service to follow. All Rotarians are invited to attend.
