G E A R Next meeting: Monday November 26, 2018 at 12:15 Guest Speaker: TBA Our president, Hal Brownlee, opened the meeting with the signing of O’Canada and Rotary Grace. We were pleased to welcome Announcements - Next Board Meeting will be on December 3, 2018.
- Monday December 17, 2018 will be our Christmas Luncheon. Rotarians are invited to bring their Spouses/Partners.
- On December 10th our speaker will be Don Thompson. Don is the Shriner Hospital representative in Winnipeg. He will be talking about the great things that the Shriner Hospital is accomplishing.
- Salvation Army is looking for people to help with their Kettle Drive. If anyone is interested please contact Hal Brownlee.
- Our President, Hal Brownlee, thanked everyone who helped with the Remembrance Day Service at Rotary Villa. Special Thanks to Shelley Killeen who was in charge of organizing this event. It was a great success again this year.
- This year there will be no Rotary meeting on December 24th and December 31st.
- The Rotary Club in Kenora will be hosting the District Conference in 2020, this will also be the 100th anniversary of the Rotary Club in Kenora. Fred Wright from the Kenora Rotary Club attended our meeting on Monday and extended an invitation to our members to attend.
