G E A R Next meeting: Monday August 19, 2019 at 12:15 Guest Speaker: TBA Hal Brownlee, our President, opened the meeting with the singing of O’Canada and Rotary grace. We were pleased to welcome Jennifer Pazdor and Joanne Gordon Announcement. - This year the Half Marathon and 5KM run will be held on September 15, 2019. Half Marathon and 5KM Fun Run online registration is now open. Volunteers will be needed for the Half Marathon and 5KM run. More details to follow shortly.
- For the Half Marathon and 5 Km run, registration is up slightly from this time last year. We have 114 registered runners to date. The request for volunteers will go out soon. Once school is back in session we will be contacting Vincent Massey and Fort Richmond for volunteers.
- The 2019 – 2020 Membership Fee is now due. Invoices have been re-sent to members who have not paid. You can pay by Cash, Cheque or e-transfers. If paying by e-transfer the transfer must be sent to Martin Coward at martinjcoward@gmail..com
- Our District Governor will be coming to Winnipeg for meetings on October 8, 2019. These meetings will be held at Canad Inns Polo Park. More details to follow.
- The next conference will be in Hawaii in 2020
